Come home to nature

wild turkey Turkey Creek, named for the large flocks of wild turkeys and the many creeks and streams running through the land, has large, heavily-wooded lots for those who want to live in a quiet, natural setting. There is a community vegetable garden watered by a mountain stream.

Gold miners worked the property almost 200 years ago and remnants of their efforts are still on some of the lots.

Turkey Creek, located in the friendly Sautee Nacoochee Community, combines the pleasures of rural living with the convenience of superb 4G cellular service, underground electricity, telephone and internet.

Close to the top-rated medical facilities in Gainesville and the large shopping and entertainment areas in the Atlanta suburbs along with the recreational opportunities in the mountains, you can have it all WITHOUT the Atlanta traffic.

Turkey Creek is adjacent to Elohee Retreat Center.

UTILITIES

Electricity, phone and internet services are pre-installed underground to each lot. Owners are responsible for setting up the accounts to establish service on these utilities.

The Verizon 4G service in the area is very strong. It's the fastest internet around.

Individual well and septic service will have to be installed on each lot. An owner who has already installed a well reports that it provides plentiful, wonderful water. The well produces 30 gallons/minute at 300' deep. The result on other lots may vary.

This owner had the water tested for mercury and lead, since gold mining occurred on this land in the past. The tests showed the water is clean.
