Fall Apple Crumble
7 Apples ¼ tspn cloves
2 Tbspns Lemon Juice 2 tspns cinnamon
1 cup turbinado sugar ¼ cup raisins
1 cup flour 4-5 chopped dates
½ cup rolled oats 2 Tbspns chopped walnuts
1 tspn baking powder ½ cup margarine or butter
½ tspn ginger

Serves 12.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  2. Wash and slice the apples and mix them with lemon juice in the pan. Add ¼ cup of the turbinado sugar and stir into apples.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.
  4. Scatter dry ingredients over apples.
  5. Melt butter or margarine and pour slowly over all.
  6. Put in the oven and bake 35 minutes.
